the horn button on the steering wheel flaps back and forth the horn does work we had it rigged so that u touch 2 wires together and it honks but that killed the battery then we changed the battery and threw the wires in the trash but i still need the horn to work help me plz

run a hot wire from the horn to the battery to test it then u can tell if it is the horn

Check the switch below the horn ring. Take a look at the horn relay. It may be best to get a wiring diagram in a repair manual like chilton's or Haynes. You might check out autozone's web site.

Its either the wires or you need a new horn. They don`t cost that much, I had a 1970 Monte Carlo.
