Well, sadly we can't make millions of people do something they don't want to do. Our leaders are having a difficult time accepting that bit of reality.

First of all, thank you for serving and i hope you can make it home safely.
As for victory in iraq, its simply not possible.
What we americans think of as helping out, is ACTUALLY a occupation.
What if china invaded america over some trumped up pretext, wouldnt YOU take a shot at the chinese troops whereever you could?
Would you care if the chinese thought they were doing the right thing by occupying their country?
I am not saying they are right or wrong, all i know is that the longer our guys are over there, the more suffering the US military will have to endure.
There is no way for Iraq to end well, and so best end it QUICKLY and suffer less for it.

We will never win in Iraq because the Iraqi people don/t want us there. Yankee go home! I believe that the so-called president of Iraq made a deal with the leaders in Iran to sell out his country and this is why he is dragging his feet. I am sure that the goons in Washington know this but will do nothing about it.

There is no military victory to be had in Iraq, and a political one doesn't seem to be going well!
Look, if it were the Iraqi's, or anyone else, doing what we are doing in Iraq, in this country, I would be doing the same damn thing they are, and I would do it until the day I died!
They are never going to quit!, only get stronger!

They are using somewhat of a new strategy from what I can gather. Clean an area out, occupy it, hand it over to Iraqis. Seems simple enough and it seems to have worked well in Anbar province. I don't know that it has worked so well anywhere else. So is it really our policy or just that the people of Anbar got sick of terrorists and kicked them out? If it is the latter than is anything we do short of letting the country go to hell going to get the terrorists out?

That depends on what "victory" means to you in this. I can envision people living in peace in Iraq, I can envision being happy for mothers and fathers, shopkeepers and farmers that have been able to rebuild their lives. I can really envision the worlds most precious artifacts being saved and restored. I dream of a day when extremists don't define a people, anywhere in the world. What I cannot glimpse is the way there. We're rollin down the Interstate and passed the off ramp. I'd like to throw her in reverse and get off on that ramp, but you and I know we have to keep going to the next off ramp.

, Victory is often available, yet i'm afraid we would choose to scrub out our closet of massive and nasty stuff to apply. not in elementary terms that, we would ought to strengthen the damn concern to get to the real undesirable adult males, that's Syria and Iran. Make no mistake approximately it, those are the culprits in this finished mess and that is making something of the middle jap international places genuine apprehensive to have the Persians and the Syrians with too lots ability. that is been suggested that Saudi Arabia has had talks with Israel concerning their concerns with regards to the middle jap stability of ability. it form of feels that extraordinary mattress fellows alongside with this, have an more suitable wisdom and believe in one yet another than they do the Persians. Now, how is that for a clean twist? one concern the international could be assured, this state of affairs maintains to alter, yet on no account gets uninteresting!
