For an audition for a film or television show you are usually given sides (a page or two from the script) to read. The name of the character you are reading for will usually be written on the top. You go in the room where the Casting Director (and whoever else) is, you introduce yourself and make nice nice, if the audition is being taped you may be asked to slate (say your name on camera and the role you're reading for and anything else they ask you to do like give them a profile look, etc.) Then you read the scene with them. After that, they either applaud or thank you for coming in. You thank them for having you, say it was very nice meeting them and leave. Then you hope they call your agent for a call back!

Good God, woman. Type in English next time, I spent five minutes decoding that.
I also find it funny that a play is not a "ligit" audition to you.
It really depends on which you're doing and who's in charge. It depends, sometimes, on a pre-laid audition schedule (literally waiting in line and hearing "next!" called). Maybe they'll ask you to read the script cold, maybe they'll ask you to make something up. Chances are, if you're going for a movie, you'll be cold reading through each step of the audition. They don't usually give you time to memorize it, unless you have a photographic memory. For a commercial, you'll be either handed a script or told to pose in various positions. As far as whether or not you get the "part," different directors/producers have different styles for delivering the news. Some might tell you to your face, others might simply neglect to contact you, some might call, you may even get a letter in the mail. It's pretty crazy, as far as a standard procedure goes. The specifics change for every audition.

They call you into a room, an office or a larger area. There's a bunch of people around a table. You stand on the far side and read from one or two pages (sides). You get about 5 minutes max. You leave your head shot and resume.

They like you, they call you back to pair you with someone for chemistry or to show you to the big people.

You generally have to be SAG or SAG elibile, unlessit's an open audition.
