Personally, I had a bad crush on my 5th grade teacher. It was so bad, I don't think I heard a word she said for the entire year. The woman was beautiful....flaming red hair, green eyes...

This one time... in 6th grade...

I told this smug-**** little red-haired weasel named Ryan that, they had just come out with the arcade version of Mortal Kombat II.

It was like, 1996 I think . And he said to me, "No frickin' way; they only have MK1 right now. You're full of crap...!"

And then 1.5 wks later we visited a local Put-Put that had the brand new Mortal Kombat II arcade game.

He gravitated towards it during that field trip, and I said, "I told you so..!"

Yet, he still thought I was full of crap...! He never said anything else to me concerning that subject, but I still think it was pretty cool, showing him up like that... ^.~

He still said "Pshhh!" and gave me the finger. But I know I was right and he was wrong... and I knew about the new, hip new trend in Video Games afore he did....
and that made all the difference...!!! =P

Walking down memory lane...
I have many fond memories of elementary school but two stand out:
1. My 5th Grade teacher. Mrs.Daniels. She had a passion for life, had a great smile, strong voice and a kind heart. I miss her still. She is the kind of person I could be friends with now.

2. My band class. Back when they had music in schools daily. I lost myself in the music and it was amazing to me how all these different instruments could make one beautiful sound together. I was hooked.

The whole elementary school experience. Those were the best years of my life. Then I got into Middle School and it all went down hill until after I graduated high school.

We wrote a play about China in the 4th grade. It was fun, putting that on.
And I always liked eating acorns at recess.
