I try my hardest to not offend anyone in any way shape or form, I don't like hurting peoples feelings because I have not the right to do so, a lot of people don't choose their words wisely and don't understand that what they are saying is mean or offensive to someone else, those are the people we need to teach how to be a better person.

I do when I am at work, or when I am here. But when I am with my friends I often find myself sticking my foot in my mouth. I often find myself asking them what is wrong, and sometimes they won't tell me what is wrong until they calm down, or I hear it from someone else. I tell them that if they won't talk to me I can't fix what is broken, and it helps. And I will fix what I've done wrong and I find myself choosing my words more wisely before I speak. I just have a bad habit of telling my friends exactly what I feel whether it be about their husbands or how they raise their kids (one of them has ADD and I am trying to tell her she needs to get it under control, and the other her husband is often verbally abusive to her) and I let them know what I think when I ought to just keep my mouth shut. I've been doing better though and I am quite proud of myself.

I'm actually working on that. I actually do choose my words very wisely when I write, which is my preferable way of communication. It's when I'm talking that I sometimes just blurt out things, sometimes i am just too brutally honest.

At least creatively most of the time, if not always wisely. I think YA is a wonderful outlet for many of us word artists, and a great way to learn good writing skills. The interaction teaches people skills, too. It's all a great education in many ways for many people, in both asking and answering.

Yes. My father calls me two things. Alligator mouth, because I tend to chomp people's heads off when I get angry. And he also says if I were an animal, I would be a fox, because I am quick sly and beautiful, but not smart enough not to get shot.
Aside from what my dead beat dad thinks, I think life is better when I don't let my temper fly. There are some situations where letting people know what you REALLY think, just isn't worth it.

Yes, I think that the way a person speaks says alot about them, and unless I am emotionally charged I am careful with my speech. I almost all get the information that I seek without ever actually asking for it, and I get my point across gently without criticism or cursing. It is never a good thing to hurt someones feelings just to make yourself feel important or better than others.

well, Judas rabbi... I try to choose my words wisely. Although I don't always say the wisest thing, in my opinion the most important thing is to try!

Actually, I sometimes think about words that best describe what I want to express. I also do that when I write something.
