What makes one so much more popular to vote on than others? And do some stay undecided so much longer than others?

And why do some go into voting so soon after being asked?

You can choose to put your question up for vote at any point at least 4 hours after posting the question by clicking the little "plus" underneath the question. If it goes up to vote early, then you get a ton more votes. I've put a lot of my questions up for an early vote.

I notice that the first page or the first answerer gets the most votes. It's like they don't bother to look at the second page when there are so many answers especially if the answers are the same.

I think it depends on whether it is originally posted during a time when many people are on and what the question is...some openings are just more eye catching...

I don't understand the voting timeline though...
