Yeppers. Someone would try to write something like "OMG, what was that?" and only get as far as "O...." end of story, game over....but someone would obviously see it coming from far off, so we would know it was coming.

A meteor that size would probably wipe out all life on earth...or at least on one side. So, no, there probably wouldn't be anyone asking questions on Yahoo Answers.

No, there would be questions like: we have 2 hours to live what are you gonna do with the time. Or: This meteor is heading toward me so I REALLY need to know: Do you think I am hot, rate me 1-10.

well yeah! Firstly, if it didn't hit my area, it would screw my radio internet with the dust, most communication would be hosed, disconnected, overloaded, ther'd be a shockwave, earthquakes, tsunamis, it would be a massive atomic reaction and prolly lower the planet's temp because of the dust.
