how much would you pay for an e-book site annually? instead of buying e-books individually, a subscription could get you unlimited access to the archives.

however the archives are not extensive -- let's just say .. they only have about 100 books.

It's not the answer you want to hear, but I wouldn't pay anything for a year's access to a teeny library of ebooks.

Sorry.

Nothing. While I do read e-books from time to time, I much prefer real books and will read and purchase a real book before an e-book.

Nothing unless I was sure the site was legal. I can't imagine publishers allowing someone to "rent" their e-books out in the manner you describe. It seems to be an invitation for piracy.

Depends on what they have. If they have top quality books, which you can't get easily outside, may be $20 - $25 and if they keep adding good titles, will continue.
