I am looking forward to that one night... that evening. Those seconds after midnight... in which I wake up from a seemingly eternal nap, slowly opening my eyes, and taking an abnormally large breath. That dusky night, when all that can be heard around my wooden cabin is the silent wind, everlastingly mourning... at which point I will slowly.. ever so slowly, rise up, move my eyes along my curtain, and I will see the glowing white blanket of snow on my window, whose skin reflects the light from that entity that I call the moon. I will most likely sigh with wonder at such a sight, the bitter cold turning my breath into mist. Yes, that night... all will be tranquil, nothing outside will stir. A wolf's howl will not be heard that night- that wolf, the one who bares fangs at the moon, whose light somehow condemns all who are caught in it. That wolf, alone in the abysmal dark, staring coldly at the resplendent stars over his mountainside, might also sigh in solitude.

I look forward to waking up for 2:00 AM feedings and diaper changes. Best of all, I'm going to drag my lazy boyfriend out of bed to help me.
