No. In fact it may keep you from it.

I masterbated for 3 years before I lost mine
Its hard to say because when I was a virgin I was ok with masterbating and not wanting sex
But now when I masturbate I want sex right away

No, it can have the opposite effect. Sex is a natural response, its the way our bodies are supposed to work and is the way to propagate our species, which is why it feels so good. The reason I didn't lose my virginity until the age of 22?I can say that was due in large part to the fact that I was able to release sexual tension by masturbating. Many opportunities presented themselves, but I had the physical part more under control b/c I could do that for myself. Also, I've talked to women my age who still don't know how to give themselves orgasms b/c they had sex before they started masturbating, so they don't know as much about how their body reacts.
Don't be ashamed if your body is telling you certain things feel good. It doesn't mean your going to run out and have sex.

For one thing, just about everyone masterbathes at one point in their life. Loosing your virginity all depends on you and your choices. Masterbathing is still safer than having sex and most people do it because they want to get to know themselves better before actually adding another person into the equation. If you feel like having sex, masterbating is safer if you want to wait to. Hope this helps.

Just so you know, if you break your hymen it does not mean you are not a virgin, like some people say. All it means is that you have a broken hymen. Many girls lose their hymen before having sex. And you lose your virginity when you have sex with a guy.
Now everybody is different but I would agree with the opinions here that it's better you're having fun by yourself, and it might actually keep you from having sex.

Yea, I agree with the first answer to this question. If you're content with masturbation, it will deter you from having sex before your marriage. If you're not satisfied with the masturbation, then you may be tempted. Absolutley nothing wrong with masturbation, contrary to what a few wackos (no pun intended) say.
Enjoy it, it's great!...and a VERY natural thing to enjoy :)

Hopefully doing it yourself will take care of the urge. It might also make your desire stronger when your with someone to go further because you'll know how good it feels to be relieved.

Masturbation usually makes it easier to AVOID sex when you don't want to have it. It's a wonderful way to release sexual tension and relax.
www.clitical.com has a lot of wonderful information on masturbation if you're interested in reading it.

Masturbation may make you lose your hymen and thus your virginity if you are a woman.
It may keep you from jumping into a sexual union by providing an outlet to your desire.
If you can control your impulses till marriage, pl. do so.

Well my friend has done oral on a guy and he has fingered her but she still is a virgin and she is 21. If you want to wait till your married, I would stick with masturbating.
