yes...12 years ago...in an emergency room.
lost conciousness.
remember..a dark cold misty grey tunnel.
and felt i was sliding down it.
terrifying feeling..keep trying to pull myself back from it.
felt as though if i went there..i would not come back.
bright golden shimmering light appears..two strong male hands lift me..so gently and pull me back.
i awakened..and no one was around me.
i was just in a hospital bed in the er room.
from anaphalactic shock due to an anti-biotic..scary!

I'm a BIKER, had a ladder fly off the back of a truck at me while on the freeway. When it came at me, it popped open and landed upright in my lane!. this all happened in a matter of seconds, with no time to think, and unable to get out of the lane, I leaned the bike all the way down until the peg was grinding (I was convinced I was going to hit it, so I wanted to lessen the blow) all the while I was holding onto a side mirror of the car next to me to keep from tipping all the way over, and of course I was going like 75mph.

Yes, I caught on fire. For Real. As far as the out of body thing...no. When I was in the ambulance on the way to the hospital they gave me some morphine though. I was floating then for about 5 seconds til the pain came back. That was cool...
(Don't try this at home.)

I don't know if this counts but I almost choked to death on marbles when I was little and one time while riding a rollercoaster at a local fair they left us upside down for about a minute and my seat belt wasn't on right! I had to hold on for dear life and I'm so glad my friend was with me because she kept me calm but I did almost fall out. Thank God I didn't! Oh and one time I got hit by a car but I didn't get hurt badly. I hope this answer helps =)

Yes. In 1982 I tore my spleen. I was rushed to ER in an ambulance & in ER a dumb intern kept trying to find out where I was bleeding. A nurse was even telling him he was loosing me but he just kept poking and proding and sticking his finger in well an odd place. Finally the nurse yelled you are loosing him & she took of running. She came back with a surgon but my heart had stopped. I saw myself and everyone in the room from above then. Like I was just floating there. I watched myself be pronounced dead and even like drifted out into the hall and watched my wife and my son be told I was dead. Then I started worrying about my childern and a very calm voice said do you want to go back. I thought yes and I like slamed back into my body. The nurse yelled my god we have a heartbeat. And here I am. Now this is what is weird. My spleen had an inch and a quarter tear in it. It stopped bleeding on its own and I still have it. Later I told the surgon and the nurse everthing that was said and done in ER. The surgon even ask if he could tape record it the next day. The nurse cried. They both said I was unconcious even before my heart stopped. They both said there was no way I could remember any of that night... But they believed me because I even told them things that happened including how everone was dressed and things that were said and done AFTER my heart stopped beating.
(Do I believe in GOD... Since 1982. Yes I have).

Two.
First, I stepped on a yellow jacket nest in the middle of nowhere. It took so long for an ambulance to come... not a pretty sight. Painful and Spazzy.
Second: Parasitic infection that went undiagnosed for almost a year. Scary stuff.
They almost sound slightly comical now...
haha.

i was airborne in the u.s. army out in fort bragg.. but before that trained in fort benning. my third jump in airborne school was my first "full combat" jump which ment i had a ruck sack strapped to my legs. I didn't take a full step out of the plane and felt my face and hand hit the side of the plane.. but i really didn't know what had happen yet. once my chute was opened i looked up, checked my cannopy, then watched the horizon to make sure i wasn't about to hit another jumper. i thought man i sure am sweaty, i wipe my nose and look at my hand.. blood.
once i landed my hand was as swollen as a base ball and my nose had been split .
oh those were the good old days

Yup, when I was four I ran down the wal mart parking lot and a car backed up and they couldn't see me but they saw my mom screaming and waving fractically so BAM I was spared. Then when I was nine I was riding on my scooter and I was going really fast so I swerved into the apartment complex parking lot and their was a car comming so I slammed on my brakes and turned and I fell but BAM I was spared. Then when I was 11 I was walking with my mom in a wal mart parking lot and we were pushing the cart along behind the cars and I saw this car starting to back out and they didn't see us b/c they said they were talking about cake [like cakes is really that important!] anyway they were backing up and they hit our cart and then stopped and BAM we were spared. Then when I was 12 I got shot with a firework on accident and 5 TNTs blew up on me but then BAM I was spared. Then one time I was in the car with my friends and one of them farted and it was really hot and the windows were rolled up and then there was no air and we couldn't breathe and then somehow one window came down and BAM I was spared.
You know I kind of like that, BAM I was spared. My new catch phrase, I love it!

Twice. Two different surgeries, I stopped breathing both times and had to be revived and placed on a ventilator. Talk about the surreal life.
