No, almost though..I went to the jury selection thing but I didn't get put on it. The case was about a guy who molested a girl, so I'm kind of glad I wasn't on the jury because I don't really like cases like that.

Yes, I was on a drug dealer case about 8 years ago. It lasted 4 days. We deliberated for a few hours after all the trial evidence was presented. We found the fellow guilty.

He really didn't help his case by showing up at the trial with one extra-long fingernail, and an attitude. But what decided the case was all the evidence. It was like this guy *wanted* to be caught.

The best compliment a good friend ever gave me was when he said prosecuting attorneys would not want me on a jury because I'm too analytical and can see flaws in logic. I'd like to test his theory and serve.

I was excused after the voir dire because they determined I could not be impartial.

The case was the rape of a sorority girl at a fraternity party by a member of the fraternity at the college I had attended a few years earlier.

I haven't served on a jury, but I've testified at prelims and trials for various criminal type cases.

Yes, a very enlightening experience. It was a malpractice lawsuit brought by a patient who had scissors left in her chest after breast reduction surgery!

I was the last one to be dismissed on a murder trial. I was glad that the fate of the rest of someones life was not for me to chose.
