i really want to act, but i know that first, i have to attend acting school, but i can't find any local acting school around in my area.

This is what my book, The Tao of Acting, Mentoring for the Aspiring Actor, is all about. It really is not necessary for you to go to acting school. It would be much better if you just did a lot of acting. When you think you may be good enough at it, you can try to get an agent.

Why don't you just do a Google search? Or call local theatres or univerisities, and see if they offer acting classes. San Jose is a major city - there HAVE to be classes somewhere.
