BS Speeding ticket?

so i got a Bull **** speeding ticket, on the freeway by a hgihway patrol, and it was a speed trap, it was 75 then bam 65 and he pulls me over saying i was going 80 which i wasnt but when i ask to see the radar gun he ignores me, then i ask 3 more times and he just keeps ignoring me, then walks away. my 2 friends were in the car and even my friend in the back seat yelled out the window hey he wants to see the radar gun which he still ignored. im gonna fight it cause i so wasnt speeding. what is the best defence i could use against this guy if he shows up to court and if i ask to see the radar does he HAVE to show me? could i use that in my defence?

Uh, you dont talk to a cop like that. You take it like a man, be polite, he may just give you a warning. But I dont care what kind of B.S. it is, just take it!
Now on to solving your problem, first of all you must know that your speedometer may not be accurate. Beleive it or not, some cars have gauges that are not entirely accurate, and can vary up to 5mph from what you may actually be doing. Variables like aftermarket wheels and tires also can make your speedometer more inaccurate even if they are recommended for your vehicle.
Now like I said even if it is B.S. take it and dont yell at the officer. Now the state holds calibration records for there radar guns, find out who you officer was, it will say on your citation. Go to his post, (state patrol, sheriff, local, you can look it up in the phone book or online) Request the calibration records for the gun that officer was using on the night you were stopped. If it hasnt been calibrated in over maybe two to three months I believe. You may have a chance at getting rid of your citation. You will need copies of the calibration certificate to take to court. If you are even more lucky, he wont show up to court. Usually those cases you get off, but it is unlikely he wont show.
Oh, he doesnt have to show you. And it wouldnt help you anyway, the gun doesnt save your speed. He just points it across a lane, you drive through the laser, radar, whatever he was using and as you pass through it it gives him a reading, after you leave the path of the radar, laser, it goes back to reading nothing. The guns my mother use blink a few times if you are REALLY hauling, but after a few blinks they go blank again.

Oh and trust me, I have a radar detector. It picks up laser, and X, K, and Ka bands of radar. The police primarily use K and Ka band radar guns more than laser. And oh yes a radar detector is a GREAT investment.

But if I were you, I would get ready to pay in full. Because unfortunately, the State usually wins.....

I KNOW where you're comin from> BUT ...you sound a bit young. So-in your case: You have friends who are witnesses. Have them go to court with you. Make sure you are @ your best John F Kennedy Jr behavior. No smart a--es. A judge HATES a Smart A--. AND especialy a YOUNG SMARTA--. B every professional. I advise watching some old John Kennedy reels...PRES.John Kennedy memorabilia tapes-hard to find, THINK>short answers. Be very respectful to the judge-show him you and your buds are not punks> because that is the first thing he will think-AND MOST IMPORTANT-THIS IS PROBABLY ON TAPE -from the cop-so-I say fight it to the hilt>with CLASS and a LOW PROFILE. DO NOT wear caps/keep your Beenies in the car. And DON'T show attitude. The judge see's hundreds of PEEPs a week. be Pro-speak the truth-no attitude-and the fact that you asked to see the radar 3 times and IT walked away. I hate most cops. And I'm a HOT girl

They did the same crap to me 2x... I was going 70 in a 60 and the guy said I was going 74.. they have a quota to meet, its money generator for all states and provinces. Every month you see them all get ouf the donut store and go sit in some intrapment place with their radar... there is new devices now that defeat them I suggest getting one of them it screws their radar right up ahahha
Speeding does kill, if your a moron.. I been driving for 25 years, never accident knock on formika.. haha, and in over 5 countries and the only place I get speeding ticket is in my home town ... its all money scam... you can go fight it if the cop don't show up then they will throw it out.
If you loose work to go fight it, then just pay it and buy a really good radar defeater.

What makes you think your speed check was not done by a airplane? What makes you think he did not use a lazer speed check? You will find most police and highway patrol use lazers and airplanes more than the outdated radar.Best of luck with your ticket.

i got busted ,they said 81 in a 55 mph zone,but he dropped it to 70 instantly ,and when i asked to see the radar he said he already erased it,i beat it in court,and he wasn't happy about it,but it cost me a days work,but to me it was still worth it,that trooper later on got moved from our area for writing a lot of un-necessary tickets,you might win it though,it all depends on what kind of a mood the judge is in,mine was real early in the morning,good luck on it,i hope you win this one.
