Absolutely!
Actually my dog (that's him in the picture) always comes around to my side of the bed when I turn the light off, and he says goodnight to me. He rests his head on my pillow until I kiss the top of his head and tell him goodnight.

How can you not say goodnight to something that talks back?
I tell each of the Parrots goodnight and they laugh at me or say Hello.

I make sure that they are fed and have gone to the bathroom. Then I tell them to go to bed and not to wake me up unless its an emergency. They don't listen and they tend to party it up after I go to sleep.

No. I usually tell them to move over because they got to bed before I did and have the best spots.
