Which do you think is better?

Dogs are way better. I think they rival in cuteness as puppies/kittnes, but dogs are more playful (throughout their entire lives, unlike cats) and are more loyal, easier to train, etc etc etc.

That beagle at the pet store was cute, huh? ;)

I'm personally a dog person, yet I own a cat (cannot have dogs where I currently live). Don't get me wrong, I adore cats, but I guess I like having an animal that's more dependent upon me. The heightened sense of responsibility for something is something I like having.

Both cats and dog are great animals. But it depends on what you look for in an animal. Cats tend to be somewhat more calm than dogs. Dogs are more playful and if your active a dog would be a great pet. But if you want to just lay back a cat would be good.

OK cats you have to clean litter boxes and dogs you don't and a dog can protect you from a burglar but really cats are independent and dogs are loyal so get a dog but not a Pitt bull boxer mix they have and will turn against you and try to bite you

I would think dogs because cats scratch you and they are mean so if your looking for one of those you should get a dog also they LOVE to cuddle with you

I love both and have both.
The dogs are a pain in the you know what sometimes,,, well the puppy is.. the older dogs are just in the I want to lay around all the time age, and the cat runs around playing, comes for his loving and leaves me alone when I do not want to be bugged LOL
SO, I love them both, they both have their own qualities :)

Dogs. They are loyal.

Cats are nice, but not loyal.
