First $110 MILLION for Rashard Lewis, then $60 million for Howard. That is a lot of money. And Grant Hill's contract was worth $72 million I believe. That is a LOT of money

BTW, Howards contract is worth $80 million.

Yeah, and they could afford it. Since they Hill's salary was vacated, Orlando's funds have increased dramatically. This only shows you how dedicated this team is to winning that they spend just to get quality free agents around.

I don't know if you noticed or not but Grant Hill spent a lot of time in the Sportcaster's Box during the playoffs.

He said he was going to retire after seeing Bill Walton limping around. Who knows? I am sure it is tempting for him to stay, because I am sure that he loves basketball....

Wait! Hold the press! Grant Hill now plays for the Phoenix Suns. Wow... if he can stay healthy he will be an excellent asset for the Suns. I might even have to drive out there and check a game or two out.

Rashard Lewis should be a big help down low and begin to put pieces together for the Magic to continue their progress.

They have been waiting a long time for this extra cap space and now they have it so they spent it on the biggest free-agent thats possible to get which is Lewis. They spent money also to lock up howard because he is a dominant big man. Personally i think they over payed for lewis and howard is overatted becuz i watch every Magic game and i kno wats goin on.

Good for Lewis, the Magic definitely over-spent on him. Compared to other players getting that kind of cash (Garnett), Lewis is a bit of a risky prospect. Is a 6'10" jump shooter who doesn't really do much else worth tying up so much money? I think the Magic front office could of got him for substantially less.

Well they dumped Grant Hills salary. If they wanted to give that much money to a injury prone player why not Lewis. Hes an great compliment to Dwight. Dwight isnt make that much for being a franchise player though. If you can go and get people to put around Dwight why not.

YEAH, THAT HOWARD CONTRACT IS OUTRAGEOUS. BUT THEY BETTER LOCK HIM UP NOW WHILE THEY CAN AFFORD IT. BECAUSE HE'S GONNA DOMINATE IN LIKE 2 TO 3 MORE YEARS...
