my grandpa raised me and when he passed i was down, but you gotta let him rest in peace and live the way he would have wanted you to. dwelling over a loss isn't gonna make you or him any better.
sorry to hear that
hope you feel better

So sorry about your Grandpa.Grandparents are so neat.I feel sorry when someone didn't get to know theirs. If you can afford it buy a tree & plant it in his honor.Get some flower seed's of flowers he liked,& plant them.Contribute some money to the cancer society.Or if he liked animals contribute to an org.that saves animals.
What works for me is to think of my loved ones,& the good times we had & to laugh at the crazy, funny things they said or did! What greater tribute than what you've already given,You said he is your HERO.What a wonderful person he must have been.I only hope my G-kids will think that about me! Remember him in the light, not the darkness.Good Luck.

You realize that death is just another part of life. A transition. If you're open to it, you will be able to see and feel your grandfather all around you. Many times in nature. I've experienced this many times as have others that I know. You celebrate his life by remembering his love for others and continuing your love for him. Smile and give him enough light to go home on.....:)

You have to accept it.

Say goodbye to him. Support the other family members he left behind. It is sad, but it is irreversible.

You have your own life to live, and so do other surviving family members. If you and he were Christians you can take comfort that there will be a time you will be together again.

He would want you to go on and grow beyond his passing, but I think he would be very proud to know you miss him.
