Seems a bit icky...Why do guys who read playboy need or want to know what she looked like at 8 yrs old or 15 yrs old?
In my opinion, that's creepy.

I'm sorry for anyone that doesn't believe it, but it's true...They have a laundry list the centerfold fills out of likes/dislikes/what she wants for her future and at the bottom of this list they put school pictures/dance pictures/home pictures of the centerfold as she was growing up, as if it makes it sentimental, but there is an air of creepy-ness to it, to me, that makes it GROSS.

When you meet someone and know someone and become their significant other, it is one thing to go and look at their pictures growing up.
It is quite another thing to have those pictures in a magazine that is not being held simply by the centerfold's boyfriend, but by lots of people, of whom we do not know their intention in looking at the naked pics in the centerfold along side the pics of the centerfold growing up. That, dear reader, is CREEPY. In a society that has cultural norms against people even thinking of children in the same thought process as a centerfold, I think is unconscionable, personally. And that is where I would like your feedback...What do you think? Why would it be okay?

Yeah I remember I saw childhood pics on the centerfolds a couple of months ago, and thought "what the heck are these pics doing here?!" The precious memories really don't belong with the hot nude girls....

Laying it on her chest might be a bit to much, but, perhaps you could, just happen to have the centerfold close enough to flip it open at the "right time", what she doesn't know won't hurt...you, if ya know what I mean.

I'm not in any way, shape or form advocating this.
But...I'm trying to see their point of view. The point of Playboy is to portray their centerfold as the "girl next door." I think in order to assist them with portraying this illusion to its readers, they try to provide additional information, and that those stats and photographs are part of the attempt to do that.
You have an excellent point, however. There's no reason for guys (or girls, if that's their cup of tea) who are gawking at Playboy to be gawking at stats and photos of the pre-legal girl they're probably going to fantasize about whilst doing things to themselves that if mentioned would probably get reported to Answers as abuse.
Just thought I'd try to see their point of view and answer your question.

Tell me, do you have or have you ever had a boyfriend? I'm asking this hoping that you are over 18 yourself. So, if you've ever had a boyfriend do you not look at any pictures of him when he was younger than 18, thinking that doing so would be creepy? After all, how could you look at him being 8 years old feeling as you do about him now.
When Hef's daughter took over the publishing of Platboy she changed it so that none of those pictures you speak of were of the girl's under the age of 16 (legal age) but later decided that it was nonsensical and put it back to the way it had always been.

Nah. Is it creepy when a boyfriend looks at a picture of his girl at age 15 and thinks she was the cutest?

i highly doubt that they would include that in her bio given the legal issues they would run into. i'm not sure if i believe this.
edit to add- thanks for including all the infor. that makes more sense. somewhat creepy. but, she is legal.
