ANDHRA PRADESH is the 5th largest state in India and is located in the southern part of the country. It's population is 75,727,000 (or 712 people per square mile). The capital city is HYDERABAD. This "rice bowl of India" is divided into 3 areas: KOSTA (or coastal area). Some cities here are PRAKASAM, ONGOLE, NELLORE, GUNTUR, KRISHNA, & KAKINADA. The southeast part of the state is called TELANAGANA and some cities here include HYDERABAD (the capital city), NIZAMABAD, NALGONDA, KHAMMAM, & WARANGAL. The last area, the actual "rice bowl" area, is called RAYALASEEMA. Cities here include ANANTAPUR, CUDDAPAH, CHITTOOR (or CHITTUR), & KURNOOL.
Here is a small bit of information about the last 2 I mentioned:
KURNOOL: is the former capital of ANDHRA STATE (not PRADESH); it is the Administrative seat of the Kurnool District; it has existed for over 2,000 years; its 2001 population was 267,739; literacy rate is 63%; and it is the home of many colleges and/or universities, including a medical college. Its website is www.kurnool.com or www.kurnool.in .
CHITTOOR (or CHITTUR) has a population of 133,462 as of the 1991 census; it is the market center for mangoes, grain, sugarcane, and peanuts; it is home to NUTRINE CONFECTIONARIES, a major chocolate manufacturer in India. Its District population in 1991 was 2,267,769.
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andhra_Pradesh and in their search area on the left, type in the name of the cities I mentioned above, and it will take you to another page with articles about the city (the ones rated in the high-90 to 100% have the most information).

This question is impressing! Since you are able to ask it, it's obvious that you've got the Internet. Why not write the name in Yahoo or Google and you'll probably have enough to read for a couple of weeks!
