they have demonstrated that they don't mind breaking the law, and we know what Bush thinks of the constitution (it's just a damn piece of paper)

His abusive use of Executive Privilege is borderline illegal. I wouldn't put anything past this administration.

Why are you even bothering to write about something that anyone with half a brain KNOW could happen ever since the Patriot Act was first passed. I WANT the government to do what it needs to do to protect us so that people like you can't say after the fact "Why didn't the government protect us????"

Let them do whatever they want if you're a decent law abiding citizen then you'll have NOTHING to fear. Don't have the audacity to think the government is going to waste it's time looking into anyone you know.

You can call it a matter of principal that your privacy could be violated but at the same time you want to be protected from all threats to your way of life. Ben Franklin said "Those willing to give up a little liberty for a little security deserve neither security nor liberty" well he didn't live in a world like we have today where those who despise our freedom will kill the innocent without provocation. While I greatly regret that certain things must be done to protect us I have no fear of it working against me because I have done nothing to warrant any action by the government.

Slowly work toward amending each states constitution, devalue the dollar, create massive poverty and government dependence, create new terrorist laws that won't even allow someone to speak out against the government, etc. You must realize that Bush is not working alone. He is only a supporter along with Clinton, Kennedy and the list goes on of the powerful elite who really run and who are changing this country. These are not conspiracy theories anymore.

A, let me think! Since Bush is the first politician to ever use wiretapping, and since we all know that no other government agency would ever want to listen in on our affairs, and since America is historically, the vialist most diabolical system ever invented, gee, maybe they have people holding glasses up between our walls and their ears to listen in on us too!!!! I'm really scared now!!!

Thats a great question. Bad part is, we may never know the extent of the laws broken in the name of securing the state of terrorists. Rememer since we didnt have a department for this, he created one. Homeland Security. Our constitution never mentions anything about homeland security....Georgie just added it to suit his needs.

How often do you call or email the middle east. Chances are never. And even if you did and your not a terrorist who cares if your listened in on? This is something that needs to be done to monitor these dirty muslim terrorists. How would Al Gore handle terrorists? He would probably tell them to use hybrids for their car bombs.

Bush does whatever he wants. Every time I listen to him on TV it makes me want to barf. He is the biggest liar in government and there are still people out there who think he his doing a good job. He is secretly selling America to the highest bidder and then he will retire to his compound in South America and leave us with the mess.

You mean Bush was caught readhanded listening to someone chatting up his girlfriend? My God, is there no end to this mans perfidity (look that up in the dictionary) As usual the so called news media twisted it to fit their agenda. The FBI was illegally listening to phone calls. As soon as they were caught they were stopped. Bush had nothing to do with it.
