I think that people are racists, because it is a learned behavior. They see someone else, such as a parent, or a parental influence, behaving that way and think that they should too. It's sort of like cursing. If you have a child and he starts cursing, where did he learn it? It's sad really, to think that that type of ignorance is passed down from generation to generation.

Such an excellent question! I really don't understand that way of thinking at all, how anyone can judge another because of the shells that temporarily hold our souls. People judge others because of color or size and don't even see the true soul within. Ignorance, of course. Self esteem issues, probably. Normally people like that have to try to bring everyone else down to their level in order to feel anything good about themselves at all. In my opinion, of course.

Racism is just an ideology when people think they are better than others when deep down they know they are not. We are all the same regardless of race with the same problems, issues, and goals. It is just ignorance, being afraid, and plain stupidity.

people are racist because they think one race is better than the other. racism is easy to define, it is a form of ignorance. we are all here on this planet together, why dont we all try to work things out. good luck.

It's an insecurity towards themselves. They don't have the skills to face the real world they live in some dream world that vanished years ago. It never gets them anywhere.

They are blind and fooled in thinking that putting others down will give them more value as a person.

this is a very interesting question.My friend and I were discussing it earlier. I think they just dont know any better.Its how they were raised and how they will raise their kids...hopefully someone will,1 day break the cycle.

Racism comes from their home and upbringing. I truly believe this. It is called plain ignorance.
