Since the US has no banknotes with that date, I'm guessing you mean Canada. Price varies with condition, signature combination, and whether or not they are the so-called "Devil Hair" variety (The early issues were engraved in such a way that people thought they could see the devil's face in the queen's hair - Later issues were re-touched to eliminate that).
Here is a listing of all 1954 Canada banknotes presently for sale on eBay. Perhaps by looking at the photos, you can get an idea of what you have.
