I was in yahoo chat the other day...and a man entered w/ "child porno fan" in his sn...so what do you do? You report abuse but what exactly happens to him? Someone admitting something so gross and offensive...and nothing happens? His name was allowed and that's not right. There should be more investigators, more jobs given to investigators to catch these people and lock them up before kids get hurt. Why does yahoo allow sn's like that?

I suspect it's because so much of Yahoo is automated. He may have been deleted eventually, but people make up all sorts of nicknames here on Answers, and they are hardly ever deleted for that reason alone. Some do it to "push the limits" and see how long it takes for a response. It is quite possible that the guy is not, in fact, a child porno fan, but a troll who just wants people to get upset.
