im doing skool project on eyes and there is nowhere on the internet which plainley states what ables us to see... can u help please ?

i no that they see things with eyes.. im not dumb, but like i mean... does light reflect off objecs into our eyes which ables us to see the objects or are there brain receptors i just need a complete analysis... thankyou

Light from a source (the sun, or a lamp) is reflected from objects into the eye. The lens focuses an image on the retina. Specialized cells in the retina detect the light, and send signals to the visual cortex at the back of the brain, where the signals from the two eyes are combined. Further processing is done by the brain by processes which are not yet well understood.

go to wikipedia website and search about the eye. it will tell you everything about the human eye, how it works and everything.
