When I accelerate the sound gets higher in pitch, if that helps.

The sound gets higher in pitch when I accelerate, the sound comes from under the hood but it is louder in the cabin. I know it has nothing to do with the cabin fan.

Sound like a vacuum leak , check the small hose and where they connect. check the engine and then the under dash use a stethoscope you will find it. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Some vacaccum leaks.Just try the following way.Open the boot and start the engine and spray some WD40 on to the inlet manilot,rubber boot which connects the airfilter to intake manifold.If you fins it is sucked inside means there is a leak.Seal that and try it again.

kinda tough to tell from where I;m at, cant hear a thing, maybe a belt needs to be replaced better take it to a mechanic
