You've diversified too much for one shop. Selling books, computers, toys etc confuses customers.

Consider opening up several with more specific items. One shop for books, another for computers. You may find an increase in business as people won't feel confused and lost, each one can be geared specifically to that target customer.

Then name each appropriately. "A few good books" for the bookstore maybe, "Funky Find Toys", "*your name*'s Computer Corner", "*female's name*'s Makeup Counter".

I guess my thing is that someone looking to buy toys won't necessarily want to buy makeup. But you can always add links to your other stores. "Need some makeup? Check out our friends here" and insert a link after.

You can still have huge diversity of products, but it's all more specialized.

Here's an idea that I think it novel. Find an old business name that is out of busienss. Remember "Gimbels"? They were even features in the movie, "Miracle on 34th Street" along with Macy's. Gimbels is no more, so maybe use a name like that.

The only thing to be careful of is if your business really takes-off, then someone might come around to you and say, "Hey man, someone else owns the right to that business name." But, if you are just doing the eBay stuff right now, I don't think anyone will care.

I'd go with a personnal AND descriptive one, something like : "Jimmy's books, computers, toys, and more"

Do not add a number if the name you try is already taken. You are not a number (neither is your store).

Good luck !

in basic terms think of! It sounds relaxing, you may think of toddlers asserting, "mom, i wanna pass to in elementary terms think of!" while Discovery Zone sounds like the invention channel / tequniquest (in spite of the incontrovertible fact which you spell it :P) and Kaleidoscope does not sound like a keep that sells grownup paintings and craft. :P x wish i helped :Dx
