Edit: I'm not LAUGHING at my student to offend him-- he's just plain funny for emailing me stuff like that. I am his teacher to help him with grammar... AND IT WILL TAKE US A LONG TIME TO DO THAT. ^_^_^

Above all, you are giving the student credit for learning English, considered the most difficult language in the world to learn.
Keep being a good Teacher and teach the student the correct and proper way to speak English.

I give him an "A" for effort, and you an "F" for being the REAL dumb*** here. He's trying his best to communicate and speak English, and you want to laugh at him. Why don't you try speaking a foreign language that you are just learning and see how they laugh at you. (They probably won't because most foreign students have RESPECT for others. Why don't you try to do the same).

Student implies teacher. Teachers do not belittle students. Therefore: you are not a teacher, which means this person is not your student. If you really ARE a teacher, then you shouldn't be. Find yourself a job flipping burgers, where your type of disrespect for others is expected.

He is not being weird, but simply being honest. He is from an honest society without the norms and limits of a Western one.

That is funny! But dont laugh at him when you laugh at him! And it is sort of mean to laugh at him anyway!
