I have some powdered miracle grow that you mix with water. I have had it for many years, can this stuff go bad or can I still use it?

Fertilizer does not go bad. It's more like old vitamins in your medicine shelf. They may break down over time and be of a different chemical composition than when you bought it- especially if its exposed to sunlight or if it got wet. I will often have a bag overwinter and used it in the next spring with no adverse effects.

I really have no answer except to tell you this. I had some in my out door shed for 2 years it went thru Missouri heat and some pretty bad freezes. I used it this year and my plants took off like superman!
It appears that it didn't go bad.

Hmmm....I'm waiting to see the answer to this as I, too, have old Miracle Gro. I just assumed it would last forever and still use it! I'd think it would just get less potent and not harm the plants as well as not help.
