i am a 13 year old girl and getting a physical at my school. will they look at my vagina? and if so, will i have to take my underwear off or just pull aside the crotch part?

if you get a physical at school, then they shouldn't need to look at your vagina, and if they do, just remember that all the girls are doing the same thing, and it's for your safety! to make sure you dont have any diseases or anything there that doesnt belong.

It's been a few years since I have been in school.. But I strongly doubt that they would give you a pelvic exam at school. They will probably just do a small physical. Take some blood.. Take your vitals ( your blood pressure, pulse, tempurature, and respirations). So I wouldn't worry too much. :-)

No, they will not look there. And if you are ever asked to expose these parts for a physical, you need to walk out of the office right then and tell your mother or father.

A general school physical should check eye sight, hearing, reflexes, balance, weight and height, pulse and blood pressure, and may ask health related questions, but should not include checking your vagina.
That would not be acceptable in that situation.

That type of a physical should only be done by your Dr., your school may look at your weight and the curvature of your back, but not the other.

It will probably depend on whether you've started to get your period or not. If you've started getting your periods he may want to take a quick look but if you haven't started yet your doctor may defer that part of the exam until you actually start having your period. Good luck.

No, they will not look at your privates. They should not look at your chest either. If they do either, without you and your parents' consent, they could be breaking the law.

they arent allowed to look at that... if u need somebody to then ask ur mom to take u to a GYN.
