The answer depends on you.
If you drain carb after each ride, do regular maintenance like change oil, filter and plug, both bikes will last a long time.
Don't do anything and you are screwed with either motor.
Go for the bike that you can get the best deal.
Buy a manual.
Now go have a beer and ponder your choice of machinery.

Two school of thought here less moving parts fireing twice as fast or cams valves and torque? YAMAHA QUAD IS NOT FAST ENOUGH? Or something more durable?

Two cycle engines have less moving parts to go bad or need adjusting. (no cam, lifters, valves, timing chain, push rods, )
However, they tend to last half as long over time.

Four cycle engines need more work, but last twice as long.
