parents should have their own room on a plane with babies so they don't drive everyone else nuts? before you mothers bash me.....i to had a little one and felt horrible disturbing everyone around me when my son cried for 6 hours straight! they should at least make us our own space for all the mommies.

i totally agree. when your baby wakes up in the morning, it wakes everyone else up along with it. it's one of my biggest pet peeves on airplanes! you have noo idea!!

I am not sure there should be a special room where parents traveling with children should be assigned, but I do think that there should be a space where if the child is getting fussy and disturbing others the mother could take the child to just until he or she calms down a little.

Mom who has flown with children. I know how hard it is for a child to sit still for hours especially toddlers.

You are right, that would be nice, especially on overseas flights, then you wouldn`t feel so out of place and like everyone is staring at you...
I was lucky enough though, my now 8 year old girl flew to germany with me when she was 9 months old and she didn`t make a sound! She slept most of the way. Same when she was 2! But now, i have two more and cannot imagine flying anywhere with them, not even for an hour!

i agree. I just got back from a trip and a child cried and kicked and screamed the whole flight. it drove everyone crazy. yes they should have a room where its "kid friendly" so the mommies can keep the baby busy for the flight and it will keep them quiet.

Where do they put pets on flights?

They could put the babies there and let the mommies have a rest too.

g-day!

Yeah but sometimes there are two mommies on the plane, then they would lose profit

That could be a good selling point for airlines. Good idea!

It would be nice but a little impractical. My take on it is that babies can't help it.
