Can Snugs Climb to a Second Floor Deck?

I just found to big ones in the middle of my little deck with virtually no trail behind them. I keep a small deck garden, but I never thought I'd see this!

I would think this is possible. They stick all over my tent when I am camping. Slugs are sneaky little things! Spread some sluggo around the deck or line th edges with copper tape to keep them out or kill them.

You bettcha' they can and they leave the same way they come up.
PS maybe he didn't come up from the direction you thought he did. Check around the outside of the house for the trail.
