In the coin collecting world they are not called antiques. They are just old coins. Antique dealers usually know very little about coins and pay prices lower than they should be. It has a value of $1.30 in grade good to $8.00 in grade extra fine. This is about what a dealer would pay.The 1919-D or S is worth a lot more money. The mint mark is any is on the reverse side near the E in one. If a D or S there see a dealer or re-ask the question and I will get back to you.

I always check eBay first, you can see what they are going for there.
To get the true value though you need to take it to a reputable coin dealer or numismaticist (sp?) so they can get a good look at it. Whatever you do, don't clean it. It actually takes away value.
If its an american coin, I'm guessing its a Mercury Dime, depending on wear it could be worth anything from 0-50 dollars. If you're lucky and its uncirculated and encapsulated, I've seen them go for about a thousand. Good luck.

If you don't have a numismatic club or coin-dealer locally,
go to the library & look up a US coin catalog; or go online.
