A list far too long to list here. Basically almost everything from Hollywood. For that reason I almost never go to movies anymore except for the occasional foreign film festival or animation festival.
The last movie that I saw that I actually liked was 'Motorcycle Diaries'. What a fantastic visual feast. I saw it in Palm Springs CA and my father and I were the ONLY people in the theatre. Sad, very sad.
You're a good woman Charlie Brown...

The Holiday. I have NO IDEA why so many women love this movie. The writing is atrocious. I feel almost sorry for Kate Winslet and Jude Law- they tried their hardest to make their parts work, but the movie as a whole sucked a big one. Almost every woman I know loves it though, which makes me question their intelligence. I realize that makes me an incredibly huge snob, but I just don't like badly made movies.

I really hated the blockbuster Ghost, with the totally miscasted
Patrick Swayze , the overrated Demi ( never ) Moore. and Whoopi Goldberg who just can't act.
Worst thing was they brought out a film on the same theme around that time called Truly, Madly, Deeply which was a brilliant
movie but got snowed under by the 'Big Names '.

Oh Yeah, sorry, but I didn't like any of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. I do like Johnny Depp though as an actor.

Starsky & Hutch was touted as very good, but I walked out on it.
More recently, Pan's Labyrnth. I even bought the DVD on the strength of recommendations from several people. I think they just liked it because it was pagan, but I found it terribly grotesque and tedius. I honestly do not know what turned on so many people to this dark and depressing movie.

Napoleon Dynamite and
Lost in Translation.
I plan on trying ND again some day, but I think Lost in Translation was very standard for an "indie" movie, but was considered amazing because most of the main-stream people exposed to it had never seen an actual indi-movie before and were unaware of how cool the movies are.

I did not like E. T. I thought it was poorly thought out. I did not like the animated version of the Jungle book. I thought it was choppy and patronizing. I do not like most of the older Disney movies for the same reason. They thought everything had to be homogenized for the masses and have this neat, tied up happy ending. Hope this helps.
