What do you suggest 4 doing the back handspring? I can do it with a spot and it was my first time EVER but when it comes to tryin by myself i can't even get into an arch! Help and give tips on how to get better at learning a back handspring. Oh and tips with round off back handsprings.

First, practice on a trampoline if you have one.If not you should really get someone to work with you. These things take time.My friend was working on a round off back handspring back tuck and it took her 2 years. You need a lot of strength so do push ups and that should help.Practice doing handstands.Hold them for as long as you can.Or do them against the wall.Even better:If you know how to do a handstand hop, then that will help even more.Hope this helps!

Don't try it buy yourself you could really hurt yourself. Keep doing it with a spotter and eventually you will get the hang of it and will need less and less help. If they have a trampoline and a safety belt I suggest that. Try it with a spot on a wedge mat going down the incline helps you get the idea. And when you mentioned arch a handspring really doesn't require much back flexability because your feet are in the air before you hands touch.
