I don't think they have them yet. Today is July 17. 2007
If the decision to get out is made, the troops will have to get out according to careful planning.
That is hard for congress to do. That is more of an executive branch job.

No, but the longer Congress delays the military leaving Iraq, the more devastated the Republicans will be in next year's election. The majority of the public, sick of this illegal war, will vote all the Republicans out for ignoring their wishes.

No, as well they shouldn't. In fact, the Congress should give whatever the military asks for and let the military go WIN this war. Can we use that word????

Never pass, they know it and it is a tremedous waste of governmental time to feed bills that have not chance of passing. This congress is absolutely lame. Lest we all not forget when elections come around.

No, and unfortunately this war will drag until the 08 election. Unless of course Republicans start jumping ship, and that's a probability... to save their asses.

No they don't. And if they cut funding for the troops to force a withdrawal, well that would be political suicide in an election year.

I hope not. We should not tell the enemy when we will leave. Really, we will never leave completely. We will make military bases to protect that part of the planet and the oil.

Not enough votes for it to pass the senate, and in either senate or house, not enough votes to override the veto.

Sooner than you may think, the cons will play along because they know the people want a change in direction in our occupation. If they want to be re-elected they will vote what their voters want.
