I live on the east coast and we usually go to the beach the first or second week of August to Deleware or Maryland. And sometimes to New Jersey.

But for the east coast I was wondering what the best month and week to go to the beach...list weather, water temp, specials at restruants, ect. that would convince me to go that week.

I normally go to the beach in Florida. But many friends go to the East coast beaches and they all say the restruants are good from June to August for the "summery" foods and soecialties. The Fall and Spring is good but the food is pretty common.
The water tempretures vary from North Carolina to Deleware. The tempreture zone is 80's and sometimes touching the 90's.
The weather normally in this area is in the mid to upper 80's and will get into the 90's during July and August.Bur there is always the chance for the afternoon thunder showers in the summer near the beaches because of the fronts that move in from the ocean.
But any way you look at it a day at the beach is better than a day at work.

Early September !!! Right after Labor Day.....water and air temps are still warm, rates are lower, less crowds and traffic.

We go every year right after Labor Day.
