As a former frequent flyer, I never appreciated youngsters disrupting other passengers on a plane. However, the airlines should deal with this in other ways than having some flight attendant arbitrarily reprimand the mother for what they considered to be an unruly child.
Airlines should - and could - do the following:
* Ban children from certain flights (or allow children only on certain flights);
* Provide a special section of the plane for passengers with small children;
* Make toys, books, or other items available to keep children occupied and less distractive.
Recommending that the mother drug her child to keep him quiet was totally inappropriate, rude and uncalled for; I certainly hope the airlines' management offers the mother some kind of remuneration after it's "investigation" of the incident. If other passengers defended the mother, it's doubtful that she became rude or obnoxious with the flight attendant. Just one more reason I refuse to fly anymore. I'll take a train, a bus, a boat or a car before I ever am subjected to being treated like part of a herd of cattle or treated like a suspected criminal.Homeland Security and the airline industry have made flying a terrible travel experience. -RKO- 07/12/07

She should not have been removed from the plane, only when the passenger makes bodily harm threats or acts of violence can they be removed this stewardess over reacted to a talkative child & will probably get fired. I hope the mother sues & puts an end to these over zellous stewardess on power trips.
Other passengers on the plain said she did not threthen or was belidgerent with her.
I've just read a few other responces & some just don't know the facts, all the child was doing was saying" bye bye plain" over & over again as the stewardess was doing her anouncement (which we have all heard a thousand times.

It's usually up to the captain to make the decision to turn back unless asked to do so by law enforcement. I think the flight attendant overstepped her authority, however, failing to obey an order given by the flight crew can be grounds for being taken off a plane. This was definitely over the top though. We also don't know if the mother got beligerent which is also grounds for removal from a flight.

Cool question. while the engines end and all ability is lost i think of that the pressurization interior the cabin might end too. An airplane travels at around 35,000 ft, so it may proceed to exist the vacuum for a short together as. The vacuum would not reason it to interrupt aside, however the temperature extremes might the two freeze or prepare dinner everybody interior the airplane. As for a manner long it might take? i might think of that it may be on the order of minutes. Planes are no longer built to stand up to an entire vacuum on the exterior.

Outrageous! Either we are not hearing the whole story or something is seriously amiss, I think the stewardess should be ffffffffffired. Iam a grandma and I have never been on a plane, that didn't have little ones ,behaving just like kids, they cry ,they laugh, bye bye plane, bye bye plane, bye bye plane . The wretched tiny imp throw him off the plane. I hope she sues! At the least she should get her money back and another free trip(first class).

And the stewardess' side of the story?
I ride commuter trains on weekends sometimes, they need to have a "family" car for all of the screaming meemees.......it's unfair to customers who wish to have some quiet while they sit for 2 hours.
This way, families and their noise can occupy one train car and peace and quiet can reign in another.
While it seems the stewardess lacks some tact I can understand her frustration. I'm sure there were plenty of passengers who just sighed to themselves and thought "well, this flight is sure gonna suck.".......and it shouldn't be that way.
I know mom's are gonna see it different but I don't think my point of view is unique.
