On Pok'emon ruby you can catch a zangoose which is the seviper's counterpart on sapphire. If you want a seviper, you have to trade for it with someone that has sapphire version. I would suggest catching a zangoose, because someone with sapphire cant catch that, and then trade it for a seviper and then you both get a pokemon that you cant get. it is good for both of you
