i haf my mug on my table without any drink in it there will still be ants...i left my unopen box of ferrero rocher o my office table but aft openin the box ants seems to be in n out of my box...but the chocolates haf individual wrappings..so how do i keep the ants away fom my table..its so annoying n they are getin into my CPU!!!

You need to find the source and stop it there. Then proceed to wipe down your entire desk area (compressed air for your PC) to make sure there is no residue of any kind of food. And maybe ant traps? If that doesn't get them, they are DETERMINED to find you. =) lol

Probably you need to keep food out of the office.
Otherwise, keep everything in tightly closed tins.
For the existing ants go to Home Depot or the like.
You can buy ant-traps, spray cans, or liquid ant bait.
The little buggers will gobble it up & take it home with them.
It'll wipe out the whole colony eventually.

Powder. Yes weird sounding I know, but my mom uses this. Just plain old baby powder. Sprinkle around table and all your problem areas. Very effective if you have ants out side. They will not cross the powder and become very confused. The usually die.

Hey there! Try removing all the tibits, chocolates, sweets from your table. Put them in a air-tight containers and give ur work-desk a total cleaning. Put antiseptic detergents to clean from top to bottom, front and back. It will work, if you do not put sweet things on ur desk. And remember to clean the carpet/floor tiles as well. Good luck!

check the windows and door ways to see where they are coming in and buy ant traps to put everywhere.

houses and buildings should be treated for ants. kind of like the way you treat the soil for termites.
