Does juvenile hall count?

My mom sent me to juvenile hall when I was 15 for spending the night away from home without permission. I did come back the next day, she had the cops pick me up at the house. I was in for 2 years because she refused to take me back, I spend the last year before I was 18 in a foster home. During my stay, they stopped taking kids in a JH for runaway, but I guess I got grandfathered in.

I wasn't that bad a kid, she was just not able to handle life, and to this day she wonders why we have a crappy relationship. Is this not one of the most absurd things you've ever heard?

No, but I did 48 hours in a jail cell with a very angry woman named Snake for a DUI that I got years ago.
P.S. I learned my lesson.
