Depends where you come from. The shore tends to be cooler due to sea breezes. The NW corner is very hiller and somewhat cooler than the lower elevations. The rest is a typical warm and humid summer pattern of the Mid-Atlantic States.

Yes it is hot, but hot is relative to your native environment. It is hotter to some people than to others, depending on what type of climate they have spent the majority of their life in. I think humidity is the worst aspect of the summer, being on the coast, the humidity can get quite unbearable.

Hot and humid in the entire state, although the beach and hills are a little bit cooler.
