I had the same problem when I was a teen and didnt get my first gf until I was 19. I meet someone at work who was gay and he interduced me to his friends and eventually I meet a wonderful girl. We were together for 4 years.
My sister had an easier time through a gay club in her school.

you could check out your local scene and maybe look for a parade or something, the more people there are around the less uncomfortable you will be trying to meet someone, good luck

everyone has some shy bone in there. i even get shy when it comes to girls. just set up a page saying your looking for someone. myspace is a good place to start,

See if there are any gay clubs in your school . If not , in a gay newspaper , they sometimes list gay clubs in the community .
