I think when Mikey gets a "gut feeling" it's probably the result of throwing down three or four bean burritos and maybe a stick of pepperoni, chased with a Diet Coke - the mixture of those ingredients, splashing around in his overused tub of blubber, thereby resulting in a "gut feeling" and then undoubtedly a quick dash to the can to drop some friends off at "the pool."
