The reason why i'm asking this, its because once i was at Miami Beach and an european old man was just lying on the sand and he knew i was next to him getting my towel and he farted just in front of me, and seriously i had no idea what to do, and then last month the same thing happened when i went on vacation to Cancun in Mexico. Is that allright in some cultures???

some cultures take it as a compliment like burping in england at the table, i personally find it disturbing.

maybe he had bad hearing and his peripheral vision was dead so he had no clue you was there
