Yes, and once in a while, it sounds more like gun shots than firecrackers, and I live in a small town, but there are still shootings here, and it is hard to tell the difference between the firecrackers and gunshots, especially if you hear sirens immediately after.

YES! And they're the kind of people who set off the out of state ones too...(most firecrackers are illegal here...^*%*&) I agree, it is getting annoying...

Well, it started a week before the 4th and last night there were a few. Of course, they start at dusk which is bedtime. Grrrrrr. Hopefully it will end soon. I feel sorry for the animals.

a couple days ago I was taking an afternoon nap and to my surprised I woke up SHOCKED with a rapid heart beat cuz my brother had set one off right out my window!! :-(

Yes in fact they set them off in one of our city parks and made a horrible mess that took two days, a huge vacuum that fits on a trailer and our sweeper truck to clean up the mess now my boss wants to make it totally concrete because it will be easier to clean up their mess from now on. Its really pathetic. I don't mind them shooting them off we did at church but we also got out there with broom and dustpans to clean it all up.

Not really, but they used to weeks before the 4th of July. It scared the crap out of me the first time it happened, I was watching Pulse(great movie by the way).

I just BOUGHT them for ALL your neighbors! Geez! A little un-American or what? Do you all complain like this when the bloody Christmas stuff is out for MONTHS????? Wooooo, it's a whole EIGHT DAYS later, and you'd NEVER want people to have fun, now, would ya?????
