Babies usually lose most of the hair they start with - NORMAL He will grow back hair in all the right places. The other hair he has will also even out - one of my children had dark fuzzy hair all down her back and on the tops her ears - God love her I though she looked like a little monkey with all the dark fuzzy hair. Well the good news is that she is now a beautiful 11 year old with long brown hair - and it's all on her head.
And on on to you...because of your change in hormones - you too can be loosing tons of hair. Did you find that during your pregnancy you hardly lost any - well now that’s all evening out. Trust me on this - I've been through that a few times where I though I was going to end up bald if I kept loosing any more - it seemed like every time I showered or changed my pillow case - BLAM there was a hair critter about the size of ... well way too much hair to be loosing and still have hair left on my head. BUT never fear - I still have a full head of thick hair and more than likely so will you. Also the acne is the hormones swinging - if you had good skin before you should feel fairly confident that you will return to that. Just pay extra attention to your skin and your skin cleansing - you may be producing more oils than you used to. Should go back to normal soon --- also breast feeding can also keep your hormones in a tail spin.
Trying to lose weight is not recommended when you are breastfeeding if you are thinking of cutting calories. you can begin by increasing walking with the baby and things like that but it can take a while to loose all the weight - you just need to watch what you eat - such as good vs. junk and be as active as you can - this in it's self will help.
Good luck to you and Congrats on the baby!

Well I know when your pregnant your hair can fall out your hormones are probably still crazy .It takes awhile for your hormones to return to normal. As for little bit that's normal most babies lose there hair they were born with and sprout more.So don't worry both of you shod be fine.If you are majorly concerned as the doctor.congrats on the baby !!! I had my son in March of 06 and I still have not lost all the baby weight.I gained 50 pounds !!! I lost twenty but cant seem to lose the rest. hopefully you will do better.I have been having problems with acne too ! When I was pregnant my face was beautiful now its horrible and nothing helps.I also found a bald patch on my scalp but I think it is alepicia. If you have insurance go to doctor.I don't .So I don't know what to do.Well good luck with everything and happy parenting.P.S. no matter what my body has turned to it was worth it to have my son !!!!!!!!

Always contact your doctor to make sure everything is OK...BUT...
babies lose hair in sections because they are constantly laying down. You are losing hair probably because that is what happens when your hormones are all kinds of crazy. I lost tons of hair until mine was about six months old and with all of them. It was awful!! Acne...hormones. No period...hormones, breastfeeding. Crying all the time or just plain ol depressed...hormones. Having a baby is wonderful...but man those side effects!! Good luck!! And congrats on the babe!!

You need a multi vitamin. The baby will gets his through the breast milk. As your doctor or other mothers for a good one.
You will start to lose weight when you start getting up all hours of the night with teething and when you start chasing the baby all around the house.

I did this too when I was breastfeeding. I was pulling out handfulls of hair everytime I showered or brushed. Don't worry it really does come back and you won't notice it. As far as your son... babies just do that. again, don't worry it really won't take any time at all for him to have a full head of hair. And just for the record, my second son had the hairiest ears when he was born! long dark hairs on the outside of his ears. Eventually it does fall out.

It is normal to lose hair after giving birth - pregnancy hormones cause your hair to thicken. Now that the pregnancy hormones are out of your system, you will lose some hair :)
Babies sometimes lose their newborn hair, that is normal also. Don't be surprised if his new hair comes in a different color afterwards, that is also normal :)

the hair can fall out dont worry it will grow again. As for you its just hormones reajusting. Breast feeding will make the weight come off just keep drinking to replace the fluid you lose.
hope this helps relax and enjoy!!

The later website is a good and informative site since you stated you are breastfeeding. Hairloss is totally normal after pregnancy. As for your babe, it is normal too. All my children started losing their in spots. It will grow back.
