Well, technically just about any modification is possible if you put the time and money into it.

But why the heck would you want to do that? People are usually more interested in changing FWD to RWD. You'd essentially be spending thousands of dollars to downgrade your vehicle.

Yes you can. Very simple actually. Buy an engine that is for FWD designed cars, make sure you have transmission when yo u buy the engine, then buy the steering/suspension system for fwd cars, adjust a few bolts here and there. Remove the old drive train system of your rwd car. you can leave the differential just have 'em take out the gears so it will be free wheeling. Inside of your car, you have to probably make a whole somwhere to fit the stick shift, or shift lever for automatic.

Another way is, buy the under chassis with engine , drive train , stteering / suspension , in other words a fwd car without the body and disassemble your cars body and fit it in the other one. atleast now you have a choice if you wanna go fwd this month and rwd next month.

Cost. quite cheap maybe $10,000.

Cost to buy a pre owned fwd, maybe $12,000. you save 2K

Another option which may cost you about a $1500, have a mechanic rearrange your car's body, make the front end face the back end. (180deg). so now you have an fwd. only problem with this option is. It is faster to drive on reverse than forward.

use a pair of channel locks.....pull the round cap in the middle take out the cotter pin and remove the nut....jacked up of course give the wheel a tap out comes the outer wheel bearing take rotor off use a long drift and punch our rear wheel bearong and seal.....get new seal and bearings pack with wheel bearing grease ...there are two races the bearing rides on...it's simpl;e to remove but ask where you buy the bearings as they are a set....pu it all back together opposite correct torque on th nut ...away you go......easy and no press required

The short answer is not easily. Are you an automotive engineer? No? Then leave this one alone.

anything is possible. the only reasons i could see you would want to do it is--1) you live where is snows. 2) you want to drift. or 3) you have more money than sense. you would have to completly redo the frame to allow for the tranny.

for the price of doing it you might as well buy a FWD car.

YES..........IF YOU HAVE JUST WON THE LOTTO OR HAVE A LOT OF MONEY BURNING A HOLE IN YOUR POCKET.

THIS TYPE OF CONVERSION WOULD BE SO COSTLY THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER JUST TO BY ANOTHER VEHICLE.
