She is such a natural actress and seamlessly reacts so well to the situations. I thoroughly enjoy her. Do you agree?

I love her on the show too but I really like when Tamara Braun played Carly.

Laura Wright is very fit especially in pyjamas (born Laura Sisk on September 11, 1970 in Clinton, Maryland) is an American actress. She married architect John Wright in October 1995. They have two kids.

Her first soap gig was the role of younger Rescott sister Allison "Ally" Rescott Alden Bowman on Loving (1991-1995). When that show ended, she reprised her role on spinoff soap The City (1995-1997). After that show was also canceled, she was offered the contract role of Reva's half-sister Cassie Layne Winslow on Guiding Light, which she remained until November 2005. After Wright left the soap, the role of Cassie was recast with daytime newcomer, Nicole Forester.

Since November 2005, Wright joined the cast of General Hospital as Carly Benson Corinthos, taking over from Jennifer Bransford.

She is a great Carly. I watched her play Cassie and she was good but Carly is such an animated character that she is kicking butt. She will get an award for sure this year. She moved her whole family for this role. She knew what she was doing didn't she?

yeah I like her too , tho from before, as i don't watch GH.... Prior to Guiding Light - an excellent show year in and year out- LW was on The City which had spun off of Loving, which I think she was also on...
I enjoyed The City and it's cast - it had a different look and style than other soaps...

LW has really evolved into a really strong and interesting actress.... or is that the roles she has gotten just gotten increasingly better and bigger( allowing her to show more range)...probably both...

I really like her too. I like the way she acts with the kids. You can tell she has kids. The other Carly's were really bad with the children, like it was not easy for them. The only thing about this Carly is that she is so much older than the others were. It was a big thing when she first hooked up with her step-dad( can't think of his name), and again when she was with Sunny.

I've only known her on GH, as I just got into it and I'm a new fan. I do like her, but she's a tad annoying sometimes, not her, just her character. I loved her scenes in the boiler room recently! And you're right, she's so natural in everything.

she was on guiding light, played a character named Cassie. and you're right about her. i am not crazy about recasts, (like the new greenlee on AMC) but Laura has such amazing chemistry with Maurice and Steve, you never would have guessed that she's relatively new and hasn't been acting with them for years.

I dont know where she played, but GH is lucky to have her, she is the best replacement and need not replace the carly actor again.
